Message 1: The Big Story
The first five books of the Bible (Pentateuch) are foundational to the whole message of the Bible. It is in them that we begin to know who God is and his purposes for humankind. In the six sessions of the camp, we will begin by looking at the Pentateuch as a whole, followed by each book of the Pentateuch with five respective texts in greater detail (Gen 12, Exod 32, Lev 16, Num 11, and Deut 5). These sessions will show how the Pentateuch is a skillfully structured composition with a coherent message for God’s people through the generations.
